The PC version of Cave Story will stay online

If you were worried that the PC version of Cave Story was going to disappear, you can rest easy. Tyrone Rodriguez, head of Nicalis Inc., has confirmed that there are no intentions to remove the free version of Cave Story from the interwebs. Mr. Rodriguez is hoping that fans of the PC version will want to check out the WiiWare version for all the new features, as well as to tip their hats to Pixel, the original creator.

Valve - Wii development is riskier than PS3

If we were going for the Wii we’d have to go for a whole new game that’s designed for that platform. That’s an expensive proposition and riskier than just getting some good PS3 developers on board. - Doug Lombardi, Valve

I can’t take all this teasing some Valve. They obviously show an interest in the Wii, and keep teasing ideas of working on the platform. Is it going to happen, or is this just smoke being blown where the sun doesn’t shine?

Nintendo`s DSi: A Caustic Look

This article takes a look at Nintendo’s recent announcements from Japan, and looks at them from the consumer perspective. Are the products that Nintendo is offering going to click with the public?
